Patisserie De Bain – Winter Warmer Goodies!

Have you ever smelt a product that was good enough to eat?! If the answer to that is no, you need to get a hold of one of these Patisserie De Bain products! When my parcel arrived containing these products, I couldn’t wait to peek inside. I was sat down fully aware it was soap, but the urge to have a little TASTE! OMG! As soon as I peeled back the gorgeous packaging of this parcel, the incredible smell of cherry and strawberry cupcake took me by surprise. How could a product smell this good. So sweet, so fruity so…ewww, Roxanne you had to go and taste it didn’t you lol.

I don’t think you quite understand the scent, in fact, I want you guys to run to your local Superdrug right now, give them a smell and come back!

I guess I should follow that statement by letting you know you can buy these products from Superdrug or you can grab these stunners directly from the Rose & Co website.

A wonderful story of how this brand was created…

Rose & Co.’s little sister brand, Patisserie De Bain burst onto the scene in 2007.

Inspired by sweet childhood memories, colourful French patisseries, and quirky retro designs.

One of my favourite things about this brand is that the original idea began in one of my favourite cities in the world – Paris. I recently fell in love with Paris whilst there on a short trip (A Blogger’s 24 Hours In Paris), so I absolutely love the thought of a wonderful lady called Caroline, wandering the Parisian streets feeling super inspired an ending up with this gorgeous creation. How amazing! Read more about the beautiful rise of Patisserie De Bain – here.

One of the first things that caught my eye about these products was the beautiful packaging. I love how fun, vibrant and sweet they are. I would say I am easily sold to when the packaging is beautiful and the fragrance is there to match, and I was praying that this line of products would meet the high expectations! I’m also a huge fan of the fact Patisserie De Bain is suitable for Vegetarians and for Vegans (apart from the lip balms as they contain Beeswax). These products are also NOT tested on animals!

Well, I guess it’s time to tell you what I think…

Just take a second and imagine this scenario. It’s a Sunday afternoon, your mum/grandma has just taken something out of the oven that she has baked.  Letting the warm, freshly baked scent of cherry pie fill the house! Ok, now we are on the same page.

Let me introduce…

Patisserie De Bain

Body Lotion Sweet Cherry Pie 200ml

Patisserie De Bain

If you’re not already sold on my cherry pie daydream, then I’m going to have to convince you some more. I know I may sound like I’m exaggerating slightly when I say this but these products genuinely make me feel happy inside! Lately, I have been trying to use more hand creams to hydrate my hands. I don’t know about you guys but my skin and hands get super dry in the winter months. I’m always so forgetful with that routine but now I have this product, I can’t stop applying it all day, not only for the luscious scent but it feels amazing on my skin too!

I have definitely noticed a change in the hydration of my skin. My hands look more hydrated and feel super soft! The only downside is that it makes me want a homemade pie with custard, but that is a pretty regular day for me… ?

This product retails on the Rose & Co website for £4.99 – If someone had asked me how much I thought this product was before I knew, I would have doubled the price, it is BRILLIANT value for money.

Body Mist Spray Strawberry Cupcake 150ml

Patisserie De Bain

I’m sorry but I feel like this whole range of products was made for me. I mean, who doesn’t want to smell like a Strawberry Cupcake?! This spray is honestly divine, I love fruity fragrances so this body spray is perfect for me. It’s feminine, fresh, light and so perfectly sweet!

I’ve always been more of a perfume girl than a body spray lover. But after spraying this one morning, I was still getting hints of strawberry later that day. I think that is pretty amazing for a £6.99 body mist!

If the strawberry cupcake scent isn’t your thing then don’t worry because Patisserie De Bain has all corners covered by offering seven different collections!

  • Cranberries & Cream
  • Strawberry Cupcake
  • Sugared Violet
  • Lemon Bon Bon
  • Sweet As Cherry Pie
  • Orange Crush
  • Creme Patissiere

Lemon Bon Bon and Orange Crush sound absolutely dreamy!

Roly Poly Soap Blackcurrant Apricot Coulis

Patisserie De Bain

I honestly can’t remember the last time I used a traditional bar of soap. You can normally find me in the shower gel section or covering myself in a product from Lush! There is something kind of old school that I miss about soap so I have enjoyed using it again. As you have probably guessed, this also smells edible, gorgeous, divine, the list could go on and on…

My favourite thing other than the lovely blackcurrant smell is that this soap doesn’t make my skin feel dry at all. In the past, I have found that soaps really dehydrate my skin! I was quite surprised at how soft and hydrated my skin felt afterwards. So it’s a big thumbs up from me. Maybe I have been converted to being a soap user again! This soap retails for £4.99 on the Rose & Co website.

Bath Bomb Sweet as Cherry Pie

Ahhh one of my favourite products EVER is the sacred bath bombs! What a brilliant invention. I have a huge stash of them for a rainy day. Hoarding bath bombs is my thing, so I feel like I’m quite an expert by now. The first thing I noticed that was different about this one is that it is split into two halves. I think that is such a good idea if you’d like to only use half or to go for it and drop the whole thing in! After using just one half, the smell of this bath bomb travelled around my whole apartment and I’m not complaining one bit.

What more can I say then if you love bath bombs too, you need this in your life. It’s only £1.50 and Patisserie De Bain have lots of fruity flavours as I mentioned above. I loved having a cherry scented, pink bubble bath, next on my list to try is the Orange Crush Bath Bomb.

Patisserie De Bain

There we have it guys! A super detailed rundown on a few of the Patisserie De Bain range. Have you guys tried any of the range? What’re your favourites? I will definitely be purchasing more of them. I would like to mostly point out the amazing prices of these products for such high quality. You guys know I like to take good care of my skin so I never use anything too harsh or drying on my face or body. They are amazing products and I really enjoyed using them for a good pamper session.

If you also love a pamper, you sh0uld have a read of my Oils For Natural Hair – The Perfect Treatment! blog post, it will definitely set you off for a full night of TLC! Enjoy!

Lots of Love…
